Numaan Formoli is a Bioengineering: Bioinformatics undergraduate at UCSD. In high school, he was heavily involved in Cyberpatriots, combating national cybersecurity issues in operating systems like Windows and Ubuntu. At UCSD, he engineered Python code using NumPy, pandas, and matplotlib for SARS-CoV-2 research, and managed a significant WHO COVID database. His current role at Telese Lab involves using Seurat for single-cell RNA sequencing analysis in mouse models. Outside of the lab, he enjoys hiking at National Parks and swimming at Lake Tahoe.
